New UI Tax System Launch
On November 19, 2024, KDOL will introduce a new online system for UI Tax. Here are the key dates and details you need to know:
Important Dates
November 11: KDOL will be closed in observance of Veterans Day.
November 13: The KDOL Employer website will go offline for upgrades starting at 5 p.m.
November 19: The new website and UI Tax system will be fully operational and available starting at 8 a.m.
What Employers Need to Know
New Online Account Setup: All employers will need to create a username and password for the updated portal. You may add multiple authorized users during the registration process.
Third-Party Administrators (TPAs): TPAs will not need to create new credentials, as their existing usernames will be automatically transferred.
Updated UI Tax Account Number Format: While your current UI Tax account number will remain the same, it will now appear in a 10-digit format (e.g., current number 123456 will become 0123456000).
